I am a University Assistant at Johannes Kepler University Linz. I leverage large-scale individual-level administrative data on healthcare utilization and labor market histories to answer questions at the intersection between economics and health. Using Austrian hospital data, I analyze the consequences of hospital occupancy on patient outcomes and explore socio-economic gradients in mortality and healthcare utilization after hospitalization. Further research focuses on the (economic) spillovers of health within the family.
